Sources say Shankar’s magnum opus sci-fi flick Endhiran is likely to hit the screens in the first week of September. Latest news is about a poster announcing the audio launch of the movie. Earlier reports suggested that the audio release will be held in Malaysia and the poster also reiterates that the venue would be PICC, Putrajaya, Malaysia on July 31, 2010. However, there is no official announcement from the SUN Pictures yet.

எந்திரன் படப்பிடிப்பு முற்றாக முடிந்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து, படத்தின் நடிகர்  நடிகைகள் மற்றும் இதர குழுவினர் விடைபெற்றனர்.
படத்தின் நாயகியான ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய், ரஜினியின் காலில் விழுந்து ஆசி பெற்று மும்பை திரும்பினார்.
சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி நடிப்பில், ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில், சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் தயாரிப்பில் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக நடந்த எந்திரன் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துள்ளது. மூன்று தினங்களுக்கு முன் இதன் இறுதிகட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு பெருங்குடியில் நடந்தது. ரஜினி, ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பாடல் காட்சி அங்கு படமானது.
படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்ததும் எல்லோரது முகத்திலும் பிரிந்து செல்லும் வாட்டம் தெரிந்தது. படக்குழுவினர், ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கட்டிப்பிடித்தும், கைகுலுக்கியும் பிரியா விடை பெற்றனர்.
அப்போது ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் யாரும் எதிர்பாராத வகையில் ரஜினி காலில் விழுந்து வணங்கினார். தன்னை வாழ்த்தி ஆசி வழங்குமாறு கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.
ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் செயல் ரஜினிக்கு அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியது. ‘இதெல்லாம் எதுக்கும்மா?’ என்றவர், பின்னர் சுதாரித்துக் கொண்டு ஐஸ்வர்யா ராயை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். ‘நீயும் எனக்கு மருமகள் போலத்தான்’ என்று சொல்லி வாழ்த்தினார்.
ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய் பணிவைப் பார்த்து படப்பிடிப்பு குழுவினர் வியந்தனர். படக்குழுவினர் பலரும் ரஜினியின் காலில் விழுந்து ஆசி பெற ஆரம்பிக்க, அவர்களைத் தடுத்த ரஜினி, “யாரும் யார் காலிலும் விழுவது தேவையில்லாதது. என் ஆசீர்வாதம் அனைவருக்கும் உண்டு” என்றார்.
எந்திரன் அடுத்த மாதம் (ஆகஸ்டு) இறுதியில் ரிலீசாகும் என்று நிருபர்களிடம் நேற்று தெரிவித்தது நினைவிருக்கலாம்.

A.R. Rahman was forced to cancel two performances in North America after the stage he planned to perform on collapsed.
The stage at the ‘Pontiac Silverdome’ in Michigan collapsed during set-up on June 19, which left crewmembers injured and wounded.
Rahman also cancelled his Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour date at Toronto”s Air Canada Centre in Canada to allow time for stage equipment damaged to be repaired or replaced.
“I regret any inconvenience this causes my fans and am deeply grateful no one from my team or the local Detroit stage crew was seriously injured,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying in a tweet to fans.
He added: It”s a miracle that my team escaped with minor injuries. The lighting rig came apart. Thanks to the almighty that everyone”s safe.”
Rahman will pick up the tour in San Francisco, California on June 26.

We all know about director Shankar, the man of innovations. Now the director is busy with his big budget extravagance Endhiran (also spelt as Enthiran), which brings back the famous duo of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar after their blockbuster Sivaji, The Boss. The movie will also see Aishwarya Rai paired opposite our superstar.
Recently, the director has come out with the one-line story of Endhiran. “The film is about a robot. It revolves around a robot, who, all of a sudde,n turns into a human and mingles with society,” Shankar said.
“The film will have many surprises. Technology has been used to the maximum possible extent. I am hopeful that Endhiran will surpass all expectations. Rajni is such a simple man who is totally unaware of his fame and power,” he added.

THE SHREK 4 FOREVER AFTER

Another Shrek, another chance to see your favorite animated characters and another chance to be reminded of the genius that was the first film, without this being the first film. The problem with this entire series is that it started with a bang, fell to a whimper, and with it’s grand finale is simply enough to make up for how much it’s lost without really ever wow-ing us. Shrek Forever After is a good movie, they were creative in finding a way to make the characters fresh again, and there were definitely enough laughs in it to leave me satisfied, BUT it wasn’t without a few problems. But lets starts at the top…
